Uncharted

Every place is carrying a story. This is how we find it.

Uncharted is the philosophy behind VinoKarma and the television pilot Amanda is bringing it to life through.

The premise is simple: skip the destination everyone already knows, and go instead to the place still uncharted; the one the guidebooks haven't caught up to yet. Once you're there, read it the same way every time: through the table, through the people, through the terroir, and through the story hiding underneath all three.

The Lens

The Table: What's served, and how it's shared. Every place reveals itself here first.

The People: The winemaker, the market vendor, the fisherman who still free-dives for the catch. A place is its people before it's anything else.

The Terroir : The soil, the light, the salt in the air, the altitude that changes how a grape ripens. Terroir is a place's fingerprint.

The Story: The one that never made it into the guidebook. Finding it, and telling it honestly, is the whole point of Uncharted, and of VinoKarma.
